Greetings Humans!

I have been so busy lately working at the cafe (my humans bring me there almost every day!) that I have not had time to dictate to Richelle so she can send the meowsletter to you. Even this message will be short since I am at the cafe even now.

I mostly want to thank everyone who supported us. We have had a few successful days and are falling on our feet, as we cats are pretty well known to do. We had such good luck in publicity!  Richelle talked on the radio and on TV news plus we were in local publications such as Petone Street Scene. Our greatest joy is when we see happy customers relaxing and enjoying our play and affection.

She’s on the cover but with Tonraq!

Also link to the news story here. The reporter and camera person were really nice.

Our first two days were fully booked so getting a reservation on the weekends is a very good idea. We are not satisfied with our booking system and will change it soon but hope that it does not upset our customers too much. The weekdays have been more relaxed and people can walk in off the street and come in to see us without any problem.

Most of the cats with me are on loan from their servants so we will not be having any adoptions for about a month. However, Momo, a sweet girl I like to play with, is not coping well with the cafe environment, so she needs to find a home sooner. She loves to crawl up onto human laps and have a snuggle especially while they are working on a computer. I personally prefer shoulders, but to each their own. She lived with dogs before, which I do not understand at all. I still say, there are dogs and DOGS, if you know what I mean. She also was allowed to go outside and really wants to be able to do that again. She won’t be able to meet people in the cafe, so that is why I am making sure to introduce her to you here. I really want her to be happy. If you would like to meet her, please contact Richelle or Ken.
