Guest Cats

These cats are being trained for their forever home and it could be with you!

Adora (Adora is absent from the cafe until she gets stronger and gains weight.)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black and White
DOB: 12/04/2019
Gender: Female
Personality: timid, playfu
Size: 2.2kg

My Story:

Oh, Hi. Hello, my name is Adora. I was rescued by Loose Leash Cat Rescue from the Fantame Street Shops area in Porirua. I had a bad case of flu for about a month after, but that’s all cleared up now. I may seem shy at first, but I am just waiting until I know I can trust you. Once I do, I give you all my love. I am okay with dogs as long as they know to back off when I tell them. If I get introduced to them little by little it should be all good.

 Things I like:

Playing, petting while eating

Pan

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: 31/10/2019
Gender: Female
Personality: timid
Size: 4.6kg

My Story:

I, Pan, am the daughter of two abandoned cats living near Masterton Hospital. I was rescued by KittyCat Rehoming. I seem shy at first but will sit next to you and watch TV with you to keep you company. I’m not too needy but like a fuss occasionally on my own terms. I would probably not like to be in a house with young children or dogs. They scare me. Other cats are fine. I can play with them if they are willing. Natasha has been my companion for as long as I can remember. I really want to stay with her forever and hope you will love her too.

 Things I like:

hiding in low places, watching what you are doing

Natasha

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tourtie
DOB: 31/10/2019
Gender: Female
Personality: timid, playful
Size: 5.3kg

My Story:

They call me Natasha al Moustacha because of the markings on my face. I was rescued by KittyCat Rehoming from around the Masterton Hospital when I was about seven weeks old. I was quite wild at first but gained confidence in people and liked nothing more than to lie in a lap and be fussed over while watching TV. Later, I stayed for a while in a cattery, so I am shy of humans again. Maybe in the café with Pan to help me, I will become affectionate again. I would like a quiet home where I could live with Pan without dogs or small children. Is that you?

 Things I like:

hiding in low places, eating

Reuben (Reuben left for a trial)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: Jan. 2019
Gender: Male
Personality: timid
Size: 3.5kg

My Story:

Hi my name is Ruben. I used to be called Little Lady, but that wasn’t right because I am a boy! I am named after a friend of Ken and Richelle who had the same thing happen to him more or less. I was rescued from a property around Silverstream. My mom and aunt were rescued, de-sexed and returned. They will be cared for by the lovely couple that live there but have no more kittens. I glad I don’t have to go back. I like to be well-fed and warm, especially by fireplaces, and to be cuddled on your lap and to play with either humans or other cats. I also love to talk to you.

 Things I like:

High places, warm places, your attention and good food

Saxon

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: December /2018
Gender: Male
Personality: timid
Size: 2.8kg

My Story:

I’m Saxon, one of Sage’s brothers. You should read her story to find out how we were rescued from the dump. I wear the brown collar because I look a lot like my brother Shylo. I may hang back at first in new situations but am super playful once I feel secure. I won’t just jump in your lap like my sister, but I will ask you for petting. Loud noises don’t phase me too much, I just go to my safe place until I’m comfortable. I got used to a large dog at my first foster’s house.

 Things I like:

the feather toy, petting, low hiding places.

Oscar (Oscar has a home but will stay until February 2020)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Ginger
DOB: June 2018
Gender: Male
Personality: playful, a bit shy
Size: 4.0kg

My Story:

I, Oscar, was also rescued from the dump and will probably always have to overcome distrust of humans at first. I have been learning that some of you are very good. Cait Sith trained my sister and me at the Okada house. Play is the way to my heart. Once I trust you, I love to be petted and brushed. I tried to trust my first adoptive family but had to return. I’m grateful I got a second chance at the café. Next time, I need to move more slowly.

 Things I like:

petting and playing with any toy
