Cat Training Basics with Jalyn Neysmith.
Yes you can train a cat! Come learn the basics of how to teach cats new tricks using modern behaviour science and positive reinforcement. In this workshop you will learn:
-The science behind positive reinforcement training and how to use it effectively.
-How to get your cat interested in training.
-What rewards to use and when and how to use them.
-How to teach a new behaviour using luring, capturing, or shaping.
-How to stop unwanted behaviours.
*Because we have cats in residence at the cafe, workshops are presentations to teach the humans only, who can then go home and teach their cats. Please do not bring your cat to the workshop.
